TYPES OF COOKIES. 1.- Types of cookies according to the entity that manages them: a) Own cookies: these are sent to the user’s computer from a computer or domain managed by the publisher and from where they provided the service requested by the user. b) Third-party Cookies: these are sent to the user terminal device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that treats the obtained data through cookies.

3.-Types of cookies according to the time period that they remain activated: a) Session Cookies: are those designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are usually used to provide the service requested by the user on a single occasion. b) Persistent Cookies: are those designed to keep the data stored in the terminal and that can be accessed and processed during a period of time defined by the person responsible of the cookie, and that can go from a few minutes to several years.
